More Health and Wellness

For almost a year, we have experienced a tremendous amount of stress, which leads to anxiety and depression. According to Google, the words anxiety and mental health have been searched more than ever before. This is a problem.

One of my goals this year is to share more health and wellness with you. The top three areas of wellness I want to share are mental, physical and spiritual.

If you don't know, my background is in health. I was in the medical field for quite sometime. I have an Occupational Studies degree in health. I chose that because it allowed me to be flexible. I've done everything from phlebotomy to working in a plastic surgeon's office for women who have lost their breasts due to cancer. I'm also an EKG Tech, Patient Care Tech and more. My minor in nursing school was psychology. All of that is what led me to become an herbalist.

At this time in our lives, we are in constant fight or flight mode. We don't even recognize that we are on autopilot for survival. This constant state of fight or flight isn't allowing us to have the capacity to just be. Be in the moment. To calm our minds. To relax our bodies. To feel secure. Let me put it like this, our root chakras are fucked! When you are scrambling to find ways to be financially stable, when you don't feel secure with where you are in life, when you are constantly experiencing fear, anxiety, and worry; it's a clear indication that your root chakra is blocked.

I can no longer sit on the knowledge that I have that can potentially help people become grounded in hopes that it will help people think more clearly and figure out ways to get through this new pandemic themed life that we are living. I hope that you will join me on this journey. Let's show up for each other. Let's get these chakras in alignment so we can live our best lives.
